Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or using AI Detector, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

AI Detector provides informational analysis of photos, videos, and links to estimate whether content may be AI-generated, deepfaked, or otherwise manipulated. Results are probabilistic, not definitive. You should not rely on AI Detector as the sole basis for legal, safety, employment, relationship, or financial decisions.

Features, detection methods, supported platforms, and availability may change as technology and third-party services evolve.

Eligibility and account

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and comply with applicable laws. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

You may sign in with email, Apple, or Google. You must provide accurate information where required.

Your content and conduct

You are responsible for content you submit. You represent that you have the rights or permission needed to submit and analyze that content.

You must not:

• Submit unlawful, abusive, harassing, or harmful content
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, billing, or security controls
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service
• Use the service in a way that infringes others' rights or violates platform rules

We may suspend or terminate access for violations or to protect the service and other users.

Subscriptions and payments

Some features require a paid subscription or use scan credits ("checks").

• Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play through RevenueCat
• Prices, plans, and credit allowances are shown in the app before purchase
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your store account settings
• Refunds are handled under Apple's or Google's policies; we do not control store refund decisions

Free tiers and promotional credits may have usage limits. Unused credits may expire or reset per plan terms shown at purchase.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Detection accuracy varies by media quality, source platform, compression, and model limitations. False positives and false negatives can occur.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. You may delete your account in the app. We may suspend or terminate the service or your access with or without notice where permitted by law.

Sections that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
